"You know they make those, right?" I said.
"They aren't any good!" she said, pouting. "I could design a better shirt than that."
"Then why don't you?" I said.
And maybe it's because things are getting quite heated in this swingiest of swing cities (Columbus) in this swingiest of swing counties (Franklin) in this swingiest of swing states (Ohio), but, to my surprise, she did. And perhaps my judgment is clouded by affection, but I think the design is pretty kick-ass indeed.
So, unbeknownest to her, I decided to offer the shirt up to you, o vast Blog-o-sphere. Here's the deal: the shirts are ready to be pressed, but I want to make sure there's a demand for them first. Once 20 have been ordered, I'll start making them. If you order a shirt, and we never make it to that threshold, I'll happily refund your money. If you like the design, tell your friends, and maybe I can fulfill my girlfriend's wildest dreams by telling her to quit her day job and design lefty t-shirts full time (yes, that's a joke).
But whether you like the shirts or hate them, make sure to donate generously of your time and money to the Obama campaign these last couple of weeks. We're in the homestretch, folks--yes we can!
